Electronic Lien & Title (ELT)

Technology allows the exchange of electronic lien and title information between states and lenders/lessors. FDI facilitates this process.

Utilizing an Electronic Lien & Title process, a computer record, rather than a paper document, becomes the official evidence of ownership. Release of interest can also be handled electronically
